Michelle Hart is a longtime Delta Township resident of more than 30 years who proudly raised her family in the community she calls home. Michelle spent nearly a decade as Government Relations Coordinator with the Michigan Townships Association, gaining firsthand experience advocating for Michigan’s 1,240 townships and educating township officials statewide on issues impacting local communities.
Her professional background also includes serving as Project Coordinator for the United Dairy Industry of Michigan, where she partnered with the Michigan Department of Education, the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, and the Detroit Lions to support nutrition and wellness education programs for Michigan students, such as the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
Michelle believes in serving others and staying actively involved in her community. She has volunteered with organizations such as Homeless Angels, the Greater Lansing Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Gerard Church.
She is a parishioner of St. Gerard and serves as a member of the Pastoral Council and Women of St. Gerard. Michelle is passionate about accountability, transparency, and ensuring residents have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
